The Mt Carlton team has picked the winner of a special raffle raising funds for Mt Carlton worker Matt*, who was diagnosed earlier this year with an incurable neurological condition.
After hearing about his diagnosis, Navarre and the Mt Carlton team put together the raffle to raise money for his ongoing treatment and bucket list items.
The team put up an official 2022 North Queensland Cowboys rugby jersey signed by the team as 1st prize.
Congratulations to Blaise Carlemito for having the winning ticket on the day.
Two runner-up prizes of an Obe Geia shirt sporting a special Navarre and Cowboys badge and signed by former Cowboys Gavin Cooper and Ray Thompson were won by Dave Dudley and Matt Ralph.
The raffle raised a total of $2,000. Bec, Matt’s fiance, expressed her gratitude to the Mt Carlton team for organising the raffle.
A special thanks goes to Andrew, James and Dan for supporting the team and organising and selling the tickets.
Navarre also gives thanks to all who purchased a ticket to support Matt and his family.
