Navarre is pleased to report further diamond drilling results from the Stawell Corridor Gold Project in Western Victoria.

The results are consistent with the Company’s recently announced Exploration Target. All six holes intersected the main mineralised quartz-sulphide structure where predicted, indicative of a “lode-type” system.

Navarre Managing Director Ian Holland said these lode-type systems show that “discrete high-grade gold shoots develop on the margins of large basalt dome structures, separated by areas of thinner and lower grade gold mineralisation.

“We believe the ongoing campaign will add significantly to our resource base as we continue to execute our expansion diamond core drilling programs.”

Navarre’s oversubscribed capital raising of $14.9m contributed to the ongoing exploration in the Resolution and Adventure prospects.
