The results from the first diamond core drilling have indicated high-grade gold potential at the Langi Logan prospect, located in the Stawell Gold Corridor.
The drilling showed strong quartz-sulphide mineralisation beneath the prospects’ best shallow reconnaissance air-core drilling intercepts, enhancing the scale of the known mineralised gold system.
This is the third such discovery along the 70km long Stawell Gold Corridor, in the historically productive Victorian Goldfields. The corridor is located 270km west-north-west of Melbourne.
Encouraged by these results, Navarre is now undertaking 6,000m of reconnaissance air-core drilling to expand on the areas of gold mineralisation and test new targets, underpinned by CSIRO modelling.
