Navarre Minerals joined the North Queensland Cowboys during March to teach Whitsundays-area primary school classes about Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness as part of our ongoing sponsorship of the NQ Cowboys Resilience Project.
Cowboys legend Ray Thompson accompanied Navarre Indigenous Relations Officer Sam Martin-Savage and General Manager Mark Brown on a trip to Merinda, Gumlu and Home Hill State Primary Schools, teaching the pillars of the project while sharing stories, playing games, and learning mindfulness activities to help kids better regulate their emotions from day to day.
