Navarre Minerals has partnered with the Minerals Council of Australia to discuss and explain mineral exploration in Victoria in a new video.

Co-hosted by Technical Director Geoff McDermott, the video takes the viewer through the number of steps toward mineral exploration, including the tools used, the processes before and during exploration, analysis of preliminary results, and testing.

Involving fellow mineral explorers Kirkland Lake Gold and Fosterville Gold Mine, viewers will understand more about non-destructive reconnaissance and ensuring minimal environmental impact when drilling. Navarre’s Geological Assistant Tessa O’Callaghan also demonstrates the rigorous scientific methods used to gain insights into what’s underground.

The video also shows how explorers engage with property owners and the community, gain and adhere to exploration licences, and the machinery used to minimise disruption and impact on farms and property.
